990 square feet house plan Indian style in 22×45 sq ft:
This 2BHK house plan contains the following:
- Staircase
- Living Room
- Master bedroom
- Kitchen
- Bedroom
- W.C. bath
In this 22×45 house plan, exterior walls are of 9 inches and interior walls are of 4 inches. From all sides, space is left. These 1bhk house plans and designs are also perfect if you want to build the 1 bedroom house.
When you start from the main gate. On the front side of the plan, there is an open space that is 7’x14’6” feet.
Stair Case:
The total area covered by the staircase is 6’x14’feet. These are also called as Dog Legged staircases. The dog-legged staircase is the most economical staircase.
In this 990 sq ft house, each step consists of a 10-inch tread and a 7-inch riser. The tread is the flat part you step on and the riser is the vertical part between each tread.
On the left side of the staircase, there is a living room. When we enter the main door there is a verandah, then we enter our living room.
Living Room:
The main door of the living room is 4’x7′ feet. The inner size of a living room is 10’2”x17’2” feet.
It has two windows. On the backside of the living room, there is a common toilet bathroom.
Common Toilet Bath:
In this 22×45 house plan, The common toilet size is 3’6”x4’ feet. And the bathroom size is 6’6”x4’ feet.
The backside of the toilet has a 3’x3’2” feet duct for ventilation purposes. And one ventilator is given of toilet and one ventilator is given of bathroom for ventilation purpose. And on the left side of the common toilet bath there is a master bedroom.
Master bedroom:
The inner size of the master bedroom is 10’x11’ feet. It has two windows. We can increase or decrease the size of windows by our requirements.
The attached W.C from the master bedroom is left corner in backside. The size of the attached W.C is 4’x7’ feet.
On the right side of the attached W.C, there is a 5’8” X7’ feet small space. On the back side of space and attach W.C there is a kitchen.
Kitchen:
The position of the kitchen is given according to the vastu shastra therefore, we consider this house plan as north facing house vastu plan. The size of the Kitchen is 10’x10’ feet.
It has one window we can increase or decrease the size of the window by our requirements. In the right side corner of the kitchen in the backside, there is a wash area.

Wash area:
In this 990 square feet house plan in India, The size of the wash area there is 10’x3’ feet. On the front side of the wash area and the right side of the kitchen and backside of the common toilet bathroom, there is the bedroom.
